Shrimp Chips, Chipped and Serving Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 cup chopped fresh oysters

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

Directions

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Mix Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, oysters and butter into the mixture. Stir in horseradish. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

Return mixture to a simmer in a medium microwave oven or over high heat in the microwave. Microwave, stirring, until thickened, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Discard any remaining butter mixture.

Mix the prepared horseradish with the mixture from the crockpot and mix well. Serve with fresh chopped parsley and a slice of lime.

I am so excited! I remember my mother (also of Norwegian heritage) serving this bread to us as children, and we always think of it as flyers. This is such a simple, and delightful new way to eat bread. I can't wait to try the bread spelled out for me...
