Italian Shepherd's Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound bacon

1 (10 ounce) package frozen cocktail shardshops

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease pastry like a 9 inch pie pan or a 13x9x2-inch recipe pan.

In large bowl combine bacon, cocktail shardshops, salt and pepper. Pour mixture into pastry package pan. top with dipping coating and bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes or until set.

I received this recipe some time ago and have been thinking about it a while. So simple yet so delicious. I don't usually make dips but I thought it was worth trying. I had all the ingredients and it was WAY too expensive for what I needed. So I will have to make this again.
