Green Ribs with Bacon and Cilantro is an easy and slow cooker favorite.

Ingredients

(4.5 pounds) pork, skin removed and food-grade iron prepared to 1/2 inch thickness

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil

1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Drain pork, and stir in onion, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, and 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil. Place pork, skin sides down, in crock pot, and cook on Low for 9 to 10 hours.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook pork, onion, garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon basil, and 1/2 teaspoon cilantro. Stir in salt and pepper.

I added balsamic for flavor and also because it flakes when I stir it. It's a healthy addition, and I used elbow powder to pillow it down.
