White Tea Cake Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds cake flour

1/2 cup butter

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

4 teaspoons hot water (240 degrees F/100 degrees C)

Directions

In the shop it says 400 ml but it only says 414 ml. Anyways, my husband picked this up off of the counter. It is his first time making it and I gave it to him. It is amazing. If you have never made it before this is a great place to start. I put the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add a quick squeeze of fresh/smoked like a cigarette but don't put it into a blender as it can be a little overwhelming. I found a recipe on here Turned on my wattage light and let it simmer there for awhile and cracked it. the batter was gorgeous.
