2 (8 inch) bricks English muffin mix
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration
1 (12 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix muffin mix, raisins and pecans to make muffins. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix sugar, vanilla extract and orange extract. Add butter and stir until smooth. Pour into a 9 inch springform pan or dish.
Arrange marshmallow creme over muffins. Place pecans on top of marshmallow creme. Place filling mixture on top of marshmallow creme.
On a large baking sheet, make sure muffin cups are at least 1 inch in diameter and are at least 6 inches apart. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until muffins are golden brown.
I've made this twice: mine is a bit different recipe, i don't use a pie shell, just fill it up-Dough just doesn't cut it for me. I've baked it with butter, and while baking it the biscuits just melted in, so no need to be alarmed by this being an apple bomb. Baking is fun, easy and you can make these things anyhow.
