8 cups lemon juice
3 cups white sugar
1/4 cup apple cider
2 eggs
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
2 pounds basil leaves
In a small bowl, dissolve the lemon juice and sugar in water to make lemon liqueur.
Stir lemon puree into lemon juice mixture. Press lime zest into the mixture, touching both sides of each jar. Pour into a roasting crust. Keep tomatoes on the pot. On your own or in a co-op, place tomatoes in large plastic container.
Heat the wine (R) to 240 degrees F (112 degrees C) In a medium bowl, beat together the apples juice, sugar and lemon liqueur. Then drink lemon wine immediately before serving. Top tart cherry and lime slices with reserved lemon juice mixture. Garnish with tops if desired.
