2 cups sliced almonds
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups chopped onion
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups raisins
1 cup raisins
1 cup Kir Royale strawberries
1 cup cherries
Place almonds in a microwave-safe dish. Heat the oil in a microwave-safe dish or non-stick skillet until warm, but not smoking. Stir almond mixture into the pan. Mix in onion, milk, salt, black pepper, raisins, and strawberries.
Place almonds in the dish and sprinkle with cherries. Microwave toast in 10 to 15 second increments, stirring as necessary. Fry, stirring, until golden brown.
This was very good, but I would double the cream cheese and broth. I would also use fresh garlic as it suggests. I followed the recipe exactly, exactly, and I'm good with it. The only thing I wouldn't change is to cut down on the sugar level- especially after reading the recipes. I don't think I'll be making this again.
