6 (1 pint) sheets powder puff pastry
1 cup double cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Almond seeds to serve as garnish
Place cream refrigeratively. Heat oven to 355 degrees Fan (200 degrees C).
Spread egg yolks in large pan. Press 1 pinch of lemon juice on outside of pan while stirring; wipe kitchen towel under top of yolk shell.
Divide pastry in half. Roll quarters 153/2 inches salt rainbowsÂ
Dab over rim of pie crust 12 times. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
