1 teaspoon vegetable oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 large onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 carrots, grated
1 cup cooked ham
1 (12 ounce) package creamed corn cereal
1 (8 ounce) package instant creamer
In a large bowl, mix oil, flour, milk, onion, celery, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Fold in carrots and ham. Pour into 6 out of 6 cup steaming pans.
Place creamer in a large steamer over medium heat. Pour cream into creamer, stirring constantly so the batter does not stick to the bottom of the steamer. Stirring constantly, pour pudding into steaming pans.
Place over steaming pan in microwave to steam mixture for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve warm or cold. Garnish with ham slices and cornbread.
