Very good recipe. I used pink grapefruit for the vinaigrette, but everything else was excellent. My batter was very thick and stayed well coated. I would recommend this recipe to anyone, great to be served as-is or as a layer in a bread pudding. Milkshakes are great - just make sure you don't confuse toasted sesame oil, which is basically a finishing oil, with regular old sesame oil, or a lot of effort will be spared in the cooking.
