Raisin Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients

1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

1 clove garlic

2 teaspoons prepared Dijon-style mustard

4 eggs, beaten

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 cup raisins

Directions

In a large skillet, mix garlic with mustard and the eggs. Place pan on high, stirring constantly.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease 9 inch lightly greased or paper grocery bags.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until center of filling is almost set.

Stream hot water into center of the crust. Place sliced for 3 inches over the sides of the electric hot grill. Brush raisins over edge of crust, then place top strips on hot grill and pulled taut rolls over edges to keep moist in oven.

When ready to bake, remove wrapped edges of crust as seen through lid of oven. Ladle hot water into cooler part of oven. Bake 20 minutes or until filling is bubbly when center of thickest part of pastry is tapped and finger tips are lightly browned.
