Carnation Blender's Corked Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

1 (4 ounce) can cider vinegar

1 1/2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried minced onion

salt and pepper to taste

3 cups chicken broth

6 cups chicken broth

Directions

Place chicken in a large pot with water to cover. Bring to a boil, then add vinegar. Reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 5 to 7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through with juices.

Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion, salt and pepper. Place chicken in sauce, stirring occasionally, and stir. Cover, and let simmer for 2 hours.

In a small bowl, stir together the broth and chicken broth, then transfer to the pot. Place lid on pot and simmer 30 minutes.

Push bird into the pot and place in pot. If desired, add cornstarch. Stir occasionally, cover, and simmer over medium heat until tender.

I made this exactly as is except I halved it and used muffin tins. It was great. Served it with chowder. I will make this again
