2 cups butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 (21 ounce) can red food coloring
2 1/2 cups vegetable oil
4 cups liquid nonfat dry milk powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups white sugar for decoration
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch springform pan pans.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs and color until smooth. Beat in milk and dry milk, then stir in vanilla extract. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar, and store encased in refrigerator.
