Tuna Machele Recipe

Ingredients

1 envelope dry meat tenderloin simmered or grilled meat

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon dried milk

8 egg yolks, beaten

1 tablespoon acid

2 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons coarse uncooked or split peas

2 bay leaves

Directions

Lightly oil a 9x13 inch baking dish. Strip naked meat from pan and set aside. In a large bowl combine meat, cream, milk, egg yolks, acid, soy sauce, peas and bay leaves. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 55 minutes; reduce heat to medium and simmer 20 minutes, until mixture thickens.

Tasty and easy. When I think of a Japanese pub, I usually think of dim sum. Well, this is where I found out about Japan's traditional green bean dish. I found the recipe online and knew exactly how to make it but sorely wanted more stir fry options. Nothing beats the convenience of a Chinese restaurant: instant noodle soup with spiciness from the vegetables.

I live in a cold climate so I always choose to use our cold brewed coffee at home. I really enjoyed this recipe. I used 1/2 cup of cold brewed Guatemalan  coffee  (coffee has about 10% cocoa by weight) and tied it with a piece of spirulina. It comes out just right.
