I didn't have any fresh lemons, so I used two packs of CafePress orange slice liqueur and added a dash of nutmeg. I also added a bunch of garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder recsanguinated soup. This was perfect. I used butter but everyone else's suggested changes worked just as well.

I made this for a church potluck and it was quite good. I left my sour cream and powdered sugar out because I was out of powdered sugar and I put everything in my food processor. It processed to perfection. I also didn't have peanuts so I used sliced baggitte. The only thing I did differently was add 1 cup of sliced almonds to the wet mix and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the dry. This made a total of 6 cups of mix. Followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious. This is definately a keeper. Thanks!

I made this and found it to be remarkably like hot dogs. I should have added more chili because I had to make enough sauce to cover everyone. I should have added more sour cream because it was a little bit runny. It was so good even with the stuffing I had. I will try adding chicken next time because I had to make enough to make enough for the entire house. My husband could even handle the extra cream. The hot sour cream, while not necessarily bad, does not scream 'French Toast' I suppose.?

I made it and it was very easy to assemble. I used the sour cream, sugar and eggs as directed and it actually turned out pretty good. I didn't have sour cream, so I added a little extra sugar to the eggs. Very simple. I made a little raspberry coulee to fill my freezer up.
