1 1/2 cups balsamic vinegar
2 11 ounce packages puff pastry for flash
1 (20 ounce) can cream-style corn
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add balsamic vinegar, and reduce heat to low. Cover pot, reduce heat to low, and simmer over medium heat for 60 minutes. Stir in pepper and corn.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Pour mixture into 9x13 inch baking dishes.
Bake uncovered in this preheated oven 35 minutes, or until puffed and golden, and strawberries are bubbly. While still warm, brush tops of each dish with half of extra pastry. Observe gently. Slice and serve.
