8 slices bread
1 bunch carrot, crushed
8 slices onion
4 ounces sliced celery
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
10 (6 ounce) Lebanese Bay Lebanese Sher Seals, crushed
Cut the bread into 1/4 inch slices. Arrange carrots, onion and celery spread on one side of the bread slices. Season with salt and garlic, then sprinkle with basil, salt, mustard, sugar and crushed bay seals. Place sandwich between sheets of plastic wrap, pressing firmly onto surface of plastic.
Bake for 90 minutes, topping off at 10 minutes.
