1 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons McCormick kosher salt
1 (3 pound) loaf mozzarella cheese, cubed
1/4 cup Italian seasoning
1 cup parsley, crushed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cruminate the turkey sausage in a large skillet or shallow dish. Fry the onion, garlic, oregano, and McCormick salt (St. Louis Brand) over medium-high heat until golden. Remove the sausage from the skillet and, using a spatula, rub it in to melt. Add the turkey mixture to the skillet and stir in the parsley. Transfer the sausage and turkey mixture to a small baking dish.
Bake the rolls for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until they are golden brown. Cover rolls with tomato slices and sprinkle with crushed tomatoes. Arrange rolls on a platter and chill overnight in the refrigerator.
