Ok so I didn't follow the recipe exactly... I didn't use onions or mushrooms because I don't like them and didn't have them. I didn't slice my salsa thinly either as I usually do for sandwiches. I subbed lemon pepper for the cilantro and this worked out well. I used Spinach Cilantro Lime Chiffon which is so yummy!

I made this quick, easy & delicious. The recipe is a bit outdated, so I replaced half of the lemons with orange zest. Devoured it immediately, and will make it again--absolutely delicious!

I found this sandwich to be very tasty. I made no changes, however, I did broil it for 5 minutes (and didn't have to put the butter on it again). I think the addition of the butter was a good one, and probably wouldn't change anything I did differently. FYI, this is a very moist sandwich; I didn't bother with the topping, I just tossed it all in a colander and it cleaned up nicely. Thanks for the recipe, and Happy to Try It!

I don't know what else to say. This sandwich was absolutely terrible. I used turkey bacon and it was completely gone. The only thing I did differently was to put it in a little more breadcrumbs than the recipe calls for (I.E. 20 pieces vs 12). I didn't have any fried green onions, so I just left them out. This recipe is terrible.
