2 cups rolled oats

4 cups boiling water

3 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup applesauce
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Sift together margarine, sugar and milk. Set aside. Mix eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon and pecans into margarine mixture. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool to room temperature. Cool completely. Frost with sprinkles to decorate. Cover baking sheet tightly with foil. Spoon mixture into pan.
