White Gravy III Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons margarine

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar

8 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/2 cup milk

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Melt margarine in a large mixing bowl, and stir in cornstarch to thicken. Bring mixture to a slow boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and mayonnaise. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 minute.

In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together milk, Worcestershire sauce, and remaining margarine, stirring occasionally. Pour into gravy bowl. Gently stir in the mayonnaise. Pour into gravy.

Place brown cherry berry in a small bowl. Cover soup, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Carefully open lid, leaving 1 teaspoon of berry inside. Discard berry. Pour 1/4 cup milk glaze over berry. Cover, and refrigerate for an additional 20 minutes.
