1 1/4 cups water
1 (3 ounce) can pineapple juice
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine water, pineapple juice, flour, salt and cornstarch. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat to medium low. Let mixture boil for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from skillet. In a medium saucepan, heat oil in 1/2 cup, until just about boiling. Add chicken and stir. Sprinkle with molasses. Cover and cook 25 minutes. Remove chicken from saucepan and place in a serving dish. Sprinkle with pineapple juice mixture and dish with cornstarch sauce.
