Peach Pie Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 egg, separated

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 milk chocolate pieces in 1/2 cup plastic measuring cups

12 marshmallows

3 ripe peaches - pitted, halved and sliced

3/4 cup Butter

1 tablespoon pecans or apricots

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour cookie sheets.

In a medium bowl, cream together the flour, egg, vanilla and baking soda. Mix in the baking powder, salt and chocolate pieces. Stir in milk and marshmallows. Beat as needed to mix the ingredients evenly. Spread half of mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch square pan, leaving a 1/2 inch rim around the edges. In the center of the rim, layer the peaches, 3/4 cup butter, pecans and marshmallow creme. Place cream bottom side up on the crust.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Return to the oven and bake for 45 minutes more, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes and remove to a wire rack.
