Honey Ginger Bisquick Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup honey

5 slices white bread, cut in half

2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups boiling water

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg

1/3 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons white sugar

1 cup soy sauce

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon white vinegar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch pan.

Place the bread slices in the pan, and brush with the milk, boiling water, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Stir until evenly coated. Spread the honey mixture evenly over the bread.

In a large bowl, mix the egg, oil, honey, sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, vinegar, lemon juice, and white vinegar. Spread the mixture over the bread.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before serving.
