4 slices white bread
3 eggs
1 cup almond paste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Heat bread in a small skillet over medium heat. Pour egg and almond paste into skillet. Gradually cook, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute. When mixture is thick, remove from heat. Mix lemon juice into skillet and pour into egg mixture. Spoon into bread and spoon top with lemon slices. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and tomato sauce.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Refrigerate bread and drain.
