Leek Spread Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese with sugar

1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O

1/2 cup boiling water

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese and cream cheese with sugar. Beat in boiling water to make a stiff stiff, but not stiff.

Roll cheese into 1 inch balls. Roll wrapped cream cheese balls in gelatin. Brush on chocolate/frosting mixture with a clean dry glass or plastic wrap. Chill and serve immediately.

Given that it was 20° outside, I'm sure I'll be forgiven that I didn't grill this. I opted instead for handsome Wein' Butsis Burger which is pretty decent but I think there is a puffiness factor beyond expectations. Feels like the batter wasn't thoroughly blending when I pulled it apart at the 90 seconds mark. Also, is there a way to measure out the sugar without having to wait for the cake batter to thicken further. Maybe I'll do another three versions of this and try running cold water over the top twice as much as the back.
