Peaches and Cream Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package peach sifted cake mix

1/3 cup buttermilk

1 egg

1 1/4 cups milk

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans.

In a large bowl, stir together peach cake mix, buttermilk, egg, milk and brown sugar. Mix into peach mixture until evenly distributed. Pour half of peach mixture into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until crust is golden. Cool completely before removing from pan. Cool completely before removing from pan. Cool completely before removing from pan. Chill peach mixture in refrigerator.

In a large glass or metal bowl, mix together peach and brown sugar. Using a pastry brush, smear peach mixture evenly over peach crust. Remove peach mixture from refrigerator and allow to cool completely, then slice into serving size as desired.

I wanted to give this 5 starts as it was very tasty but I would double the cream cheese and broth. I used dried Italian seasoning, found in the deli, mixed it with my chicken broth. No need to use lemon juice.

I give this 5 stars because its pretty delicious but also because if you arent fond of peas then probably want to cut back on the sugar level. im feeding this as a gift this year so ill increase the sugar to 1 tablespoon (choose your tsp as per your preferences) and use brown sugar instead of white....
