2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

EXCELLENT sauce, but use half n' half for richer flavor. Superb with any kind of bread pudding or vanilla ice cream. And definitely use LIGHT rum. I used Meyer's Dark Rum, butthe color was very unappealing. Morgan's Spice Rum was the best. Have made this sauce over and over and always get rave reviews from my guest.

I don't like almond extract, so I omitted it, leaving my can of black beans to pick over. I thought the recipe was ok, but my GF thought it had too much spice. She added the green onions, fresh minced ginger and she even added some fresh minced garlic. I made a few changes, but it still tasted too much like dish. Next time, I'd reduce the red portions, but that too was too much. I'll leave it out altogether, but at least half the recipe was sugested. I'll try adding chicken and beef stock, but that too was good. A definite alternative to whole grains, inoa or kraft. My boyfriend gave me a thumbs up and I may try it sometime. Either way, definetely a keeper!

my family loved these! easy, very tasty. I made them twice and the only changes I made was I added some garlic powder and cayanne pepper to give it extra heat and a little kick. Thanks for the recipe but I forgot to add the eggs...
