2 (1 pound) whole chicken, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 (1 ounce) cubes bacon or sausage
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/8 cup chopped fresh plum tomatoes
2 teaspoons dried basil
4 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons dry lemon juice
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add chicken and cook for about 5 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add oil and bacon and cook for 30 minutes. Stir in garlic, tomatoes, basil, bread crumbs and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Spoon chicken mixture into 8 large glasses, and top with plum pudding. Serve with whipped cream and mushroom soup.
