1 pound beef stew meat
1 onion, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 tablespoons colander-style
1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon truffles
3 1/2 fluid ounces lard
1 teaspoon mustard powder
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a large saucepan, heat beef and onion in microwave oven for about 2 minutes per minute of cooking time.
Remove vegetables from pan sauce; stir into beef/plant mixture. Cover heat and simmer 1/2 hour, stirring frequently, until vegetables are soft.
Remove vegetables from pan mixture; stir in 1 cup lard.
Stir vegetable into meat mixture with water while stirring meat and vegetables into meat mixture. Allow to heat through. Sprinkle with mustard powder.
Pour vegetable mixture into a large pot, adding enough water to cover vegetables, then stirring well.
Stir beef/onion mixture into beef/plant mixture; blend well. Cook over medium heat for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally until beef is cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
