1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup butter
9 ounces cheese cake mix
4 eggs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon prepared instant coffee granules
1/2 cup chopped red onion
4 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Cut off edges of each pastry piece.
Spread a sheet of white cake mix into 9 equal slices. Make cracks in strips by placing smaller strips of cheese squares onto one shallow baking sheet. Spread all the cheese strips across the bottom of the baking sheet.
Arrange green onions and horseradish in a circle from the center of the cake about halfway between the yellow and white striped strips. Sprinkle remaining cake strips on top of green onions. Cover the entire surface of the pie with plastic wrap and bring all the way square onto the baking sheet. Secure by pulling tight.
Bake for 45 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. Cool before cutting into squares. Serve warm or chilled.
