3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter
2 pounds macaroni
Beat flour, baking powder, salt and paprika into a large bowl. Mix in lemon juice and butter; mix until smooth. Stir in the other flour and paprika. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
The next morning, preheat the oven lightly. Brush a 9x13 inch baking dish with margarine melt butter mixture. Place 1 to 2 inches from side of pan and layer with 2 cups of macaroni. Top with remaining potatoes and top with cheese.
Bake 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Immediately remove from pan to wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm.
