Salozzini Recipe

Ingredients

2 medium onions, peeled and thinly sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium zucchini, peeled and seeded

1 medium carrot, cut into 1/8 inch slices

1 medium carrot, sliced

1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1/4 inch slices

1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1/4 inch slices

1 medium Zucchini, sliced

1/2 cup Italian seasoning

1 pinch salt

3 tablespoons Italian seasoning

Directions

In a large pot over high heat, mix the onions, olive oil, zucchini and carrot. Stirring constantly, cook until vegetables begin to turn golden.

Stir in the pasta, carrots, bell pepper, red bell pepper, zucchini and Italian seasoning. Continue to heat gently.

Reduce heat to low and add the Italian seasoning. Suck the egg whites into the pot. Return to a boil. Stir frequently, stirring frequently. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

I followed this recipe exactly creating a new batch of Hotdogs and making sure to massage the hotdogs b/c they were small. Put batter on hoagie and waited for it to rise. About halfway through cooking, and batter seemed a bit dry I removed and used balsamic for bitterness. Will make this again.
