Potato Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 teaspoon dried basil

2 tablespoons onion powder

2 teaspoons cider

6 potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup

3/4 cup water

2 teaspoons salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large skillet, saute beef with basil, onion powder, cider, potatoes, tomato soup, and water until browned; drain fat. Stir in salt, reduce heat to medium-low, and brown until the beef is completely rendered.

Place the beef mixture in a 10x7 inch roasting pan. Seal the two upper cracks in the rectangular pan, and press dirt in by rolling in flour to enclose it. Pour mixture into roasting pan.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until internal meat temperature reaches 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).
