2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup light corn syrup
4 egg whites
1 egg yolk
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, beat the milk, corn syrup, egg whites, egg yolk and butter until smooth. Stir in sugar, then sprinkle evenly with corn syrup mixture.
Spread or pipe mayonnaise, if desired, on top of special filling using a piping bag fitted with a round tip tip. Bow corn syrup mixture around the edges of pie; spoon mixture into pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
