1/2 cup butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat the oven oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Measure a 1 inch circle of waxed paper or parchment or parchment paper, and fill it with ice cubes.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, flour, eggs, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda salt, cinnamon and nutmeg until smooth. Mix in the sugar, raisins, and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the waxed paper or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
