1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
In a saucepan over low heat, combine sugar, garlic powder, ginger, salt and bread crumbs. Stirring continuously, cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Stir in vinegar, and simmer gently to distribute. Transfer chicken into a 3 quart saucepan, and toss in vinegar. Reduce heat to medium, and stir in broth and shrimp. Simmer over medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes, turning every five minutes.
Really enjoy the recipe. Does take awhile though... But worth it.
