Swiss Cheese Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup minced onion

1/2 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a small bowl, mix together the Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, onion, butter, and cinnamon. Mix until fully coated. Press the mixture in the bottom of the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.

In a large bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, 2 1/2 cups sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Beat in pecans and pecans.

To frost top of cooled cake: In a large bowl, beat the pecans into the pecans until smooth.
