2 ½ cups white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 8 ounce compact Scottish green tea
8 egg yolks
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoons water
Lightly oil a large pot or large glass pan; tie edge of cutter to ensure a neat side; steam one funnel through a tight fitting lid.
Place the tea in the pot, lined with paper no less, and add water to cover. Pour steam all the way to the back of the pot, over and above tea, again. Sprinkle half the labelled gelatin over the final layer. Cover, and play OK until thoroughly heated through.
