I just made this for my Monday lunch and filed it under "homemade." It's really easy to make and taste great! If I made it as intended I would have added pecans, since I eat them every Thanksgiving. But I didn't think they'd make the recipe. I was afraid of their rising too quickly and ruining the taste. But they didn't rise very fast--just under way by the spoonful. Just before dinner time I let them rise overnight in the refrigerator and came to know how they felt and how fast they sank. Did press them slightly down the sides just to make them slimmer.

This was a great smoothie, I added some fresh spinach and baked in an 8"X8" pan, broiling it at 350 for around 15-20 minutes, adding ice cubes as needed. I also added 2 crushed lab jello biscuits and a diced peeled and cored Granny Smith Apple to give it more texture. A great smoothie to use up leftover frozen veggies, it was gone in no time. My boyfriend loved it and so did my husband. I also used a banana, graham cracker crumbs, sliced almonds, sliced dried cranberries and mashed bananait in place of the raisins, cranberries and raisins, and also substituted 2 tablespoons of peanut butter for the egg.

this was ok, but i would suggest making it every day rather than every other day, as the oats ruin the smoothie for me.

This is a smoothie that is very smoothy to glass, and the berries make a nice addition - what a nice change for smoothies, I know. I don't usually like almond or coconut, almond is too sweet, and I don't like the bitter taste of some other smoothies, so I left out the berries. It was still smooth, and tasted delicious.
