2 teaspoons white sugar
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 teaspoons active dry yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons allspice, grated
In a large bowl, combine the 2 teaspoons sugar, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, oil, yeast, sugar, flour, (or to taste) bread flour and warm water. Let stand overnight.
After 8 hours, preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 8 large loaf pans. Remove loaf from pans. Mix 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 2 teaspoons salt into the lemon mixture.
Pour lemon mixture into the prepared pans. Bake in preheated oven until a tester inserted in center of loaf comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
