Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the brown sugar, eggs, and cocoa; stir into the creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the chocolate glaze: Mix together the brown sugar, cocoa, pecans, and brown sugar; pour over cooled cookies.
