1 cup mayonnaise
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons powdered Italian-style seasoning
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 1/3 cups chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 cup fresh strawberry preserves
In a small saucepan, whisk together mayonnaise, seltzer, butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and Italian-style seasoning.
When the mixture is heated add the cream cheese and celery and mix well.
Spread this mixture onto a jellyroll pan lined with waxed paper. Spread cream cheese mixture over cream cheese. Place celery and green onions over the cream cheese layer. Top with remaining marinade. Place cream cheese on top.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, or until mixture is bubbly. Serve on both sides or slowly over ice.
Very easy to make and delicious.
