3 pounds squid rollups
1 cup sliced almonds
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, divided
3 tablespoons margarine
1 (14 ounce) can shredded fresh mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven broiler setting.
Remove the rollups from the refrigerator and cut into thirds. In a large bowl, mix the garlic, salt, pepper, crust and canola oil. Blend all ingredients in large bowl until all ingredients are coated.
Shape the mixture into three rolls. Place rolls in the open medium baking dish, each roll seam side down, and roll about a 1/2 inch thick. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Broil 10 minutes, turning once, to allow the marinade to set.
Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
