Italian Healthy Whole Grain Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound salami

1/2 teaspoon dry shredded Italian parsley

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1 tablespoon garlic powder, or to taste

2 olive tomatoes, chopped

6 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced

1/2 cup chopped onion

3 good white onions, finely chopped

1 pound spaghetti sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Slice salami crosswise and cut into 1/4 inch slices. While salami are slicing, brush olive oil over both sides of each salami. Combine flour, oregano, basil, garlic powder, tomatoes, cheese, onions, spaghetti sauce and salt and pepper pepper. Roll pasta into 1 inch thick slices. Place slices between sheets of waxed paper, keeping them in separate sections.

Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven. Remove from oven and immediately turn onto a cool sheet. Bake 15 minutes longer, or until heated through. Drain pasta and place on a serving plate.

It does stick around for a long time though. To avoid burn, I put it in the fridge to consolidate.
