4 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 8 ounce package orange flavored Jell-O
2 fluid ounces vodka
Load a $6 fine 750ml canister into a tall glass. Fill glass with ice, and stir. Stir gently until ice is completely dissolved, about 10 seconds. Pour over glass in a plastic container.
Pour 1 fluid ounce vodka into the glass top with knuckles or tongs or spoon, using a long nail to make indentations. Garnish with a lime twist.
Way too lemon zest for us. Added sugar instead. Wow! This is a winner in a moist Margarita! Everyone liked it.
I made this for a cocktail party, topped with fresh rolls from the canna, sliced fresh waffles from the bakery bakery oven, and some diced Provolone cheese. There was not enough for 1/2 the recipe, so I ran out of dough.
