1 cup margarine
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups packed light corn syrup
1 cup light vegetable oil
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease 12 jelly-roll pans.
In a large bowl, stir together margarine, water, brown sugar, light corn syrup, brown sugar, corn syrup and oil until smooth. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. While the fruit is baking, mix strawberries and almonds in a small bowl. Serve immediately.
the dough was very wet, I'd leave it in the refrigerator and it would still not have condensed. i think I put it right into a warm bath with lots of ice cubes YUM!!!!!
