Lemon Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup white sugar

2 tablespoons lemon zest

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese and gelatin. Stir in pecans and sugar.

Pour mixture over bottom of pie crust. Press remaining pecans into pie crust just to edges. Pour 1/2 cup lemon cream over pecan mixture in inset of pie. Chill until serving.

Well this is super easy and fun! I didn't have bacon so I didn't add the bacon. I subbed apple cider for the apple cider and I think that worked out well. Either way, I was able to smear the apple cider on top of the mutton as if I was at a steak house. I think it would have added a nice flavor though.
