1 1/4 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 1/4 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, diced
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
In medium saucepan, combine water, olive oil, basil, oregano, salt, sugar and garlic. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in onion, celery, green pepper, Italian seasoning, basil and oregano. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low; stir in marjoram, marjoram, basil and rosemary. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
Great salad recipe as-is! I'm still working on my adjustments, but it's a great all around salad! Not too spicy, not too sweet. The whole family loved it! Thanks!
