1/2 pound potatoes, quartered, salt and pepper to taste
1 cup water, measured-warm
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
4 tablespoons compressed winter wheat food
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 cup dark corn syrup
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Don't turn potatoes until they are crisp-tender. Remove from oven and set aside. Drain to cool.
In pot, bring water to a boil in a large pot, then stir in potato, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to simmer, then stir in wheat and tomatoes. Continue to simmer this and add corn syrup. Serve hot.
